What a week! Where to from here…

Doing Our Bit asks where next?

It has been our biggest week yet. But there’s more to come.

We’ve been all over the media this week, but I can guarantee there are a lot of government strategists preparing to hit back hard. Mike Hosking has already laid some ground work this morning by focusing on costs and trying to make this about them versus us.

In the past we’ve asked you to share particular stories from our Facebook and to invite friends to like the page. Some are comfortable with that, some aren’t. Both are fine. But if you do want to help to ramp up the pressure on National in the next few days we need to amplify these stories. Currently we’re posting almost 10 stories and pictures a day. Sharing just some these stories in a public setting is best, but inviting sympathetic friends to like our page will also help us gain reach.

An opinion piece I wrote will be all over Stuff.co.nz shortly and I’ll be on Story on TV3 tonight. There are also our petition through ActionStation and they also have an email form to contact the Immigration Minister. We’re winning this, friends, and thanks so much for your care and empathy.
