| Palestinian Youth Aotearoa and University of Auckland Students for Justice in Palestine will come together in Britomart to remember the kids who have died over the weekend in Israel’s War on Gaza.
Flowers and tributes are welcome.

| Renewed call for support for the Gaza Center for Human Rights
As you will recall, the Gaza Center for human Rights is involved in documenting Israeli war crimes against Gaza.
They forensically document the crimes to an extent that they can be used in a court of law.
So far, the GCHR has documented more than 2,000 Israeli War Crimes against Gaza and have sent them to the International Criminal court. This is key in the effort which led to the ICC opening a War Crimes investigation into Israel.
Last year, Israel fired a rocket into their offices in an attempt to Kill the people there, destroy evidence and stop their very valuable work. |

| You may remember that Julie Webb-Pullman, a Kiwi citizen normally resident in Gaza but back in New Zealand and caught here due to Covid restrictions on movement, carried out a speaking tour raising fund raising for the GCHR. |

| PSNA, nationwide, raised enough funds to help replace the destroyed office equipment and to get the GCHR up and running again. Funds also helped to cover 3 salaries for a short period of time.
They still need our help.
It costs about $1,500 per month for the salaries of three of the team.
PSNA Tamaki Makaurau is calling on our supporters to see if they can spare a small koha each month to help with those salaries.
If each of us put in a small regular amount, it will add up to at least one of the salaries required.

| Israeli Apartheid
There has been a lot of discussion around Israeli Apartheid over the last year.
Many Pro-Israel supporters say that they don’t "Believe" or don’t "Think" that Israel is an Apartheid state. That Israel does not look like South Africa.
We have to note that there is an International definition of Apartheid.

And that there are Eight reports published over the last Two years alone which detail Israeli Apartheid.
One each from Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International. Two of them from Israeli Human Rights organisations.
So, although Israeli Apartheid does not "look" like South African Apartheid, the facts show that Israel Does practise Apartheid.

So while the pro-Israel lobby here in New Zealand have an "Opinion" that Israel is Not an Apartheid state, the "Facts" Prove that Israel is indeed an Apartheid state.
This debate is over.
It is time that the New Zealand government spoke up on the issue of Israeli Apartheid. |
