May was a busy month for Palestinian Human Rights activity in Auckland.
- Tuesday May 11 – World Kufiya day
- Saturday May 15 – Nakba day – 2,500 person March up Queen Street and speeches
- Saturday May 22 – Follow up Rally – Speeches and 2,500 person march down Queen street to the US Embassy
- Monday May 24 – University of Auckland – Students for Justice in Palestine Launch event
- Sunday May 30 – Planning meeting on rejuvenating PSN – Tamaki Makaurau – Auckland

The Naksa is the start of the 1967 Israeli Attack, Invasion and Occupation of the Syrian Golan and Palestinian Gaza, West Bank and East Jrusalem.
Naksa stands for – "The day of the setback"
Come and learn about the Naksa as told by a member of the Palestinian Community in Auckland.
