CAFCA: Submissions In Opposing New Intelligence & Security Bill close Oct 7

Submissions on the new Intelligence and Security Bill giving the GCSB and SIS wider powers need to be sent to the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee by 7 October.

Read what the Anti Bases Campaign wrote about the Review by Sir Michael Cullen and Dame Patsy Reddy (their recommendations are the basis of this new Bill).

ABC’s June Peace Researcher contains an excellent analysis by Warren Thomson of the Cullen/Reddy Review and its recommendations

And I wrote a shorter article on the Review in the same issue
