Hi All,
I may be being a bit self-indulgent but I plan to collectively celebrate my 70th birthday from 4pm on April 5 at the Auckland Trades Hall. 147 Great North Rd, Grey Lynn, Auckland.
I want to celebrate 55 years of struggle for a better world (and SIS spying) because that struggle is ongoing and in many ways becoming more urgent.
And there have been many wins as well as defeats.
I don’t want the celebration to be very formal. But I do want to have some speeches, music and film if possible.
PLEASE BRING A PLATE IF YOU CAN TO SHARE A MEAL AROUND 6PM
We can transition from more formal to less formal and a bit more socialising from 7pm.
Feel free to forward to friends and comrades.
Your in solidarity
Mike Treen
